Sisters Judith and Tessy Ehiguese from St Joseph’s College in Lucan, Co Dublin, have been awarded the top prize in Trend Micro’s second What’s Your Story? competition to promote online safety among school-going children and teenagers.

What’s Your Story? is run by Trend Micro’s Internet Safety and this year’s theme was "what does the good side of the internet look like?" They were looking for original videos and posters that show the world “it’s not as bad as you think. In fact, there’s a lot of good stuff happening with technology. It's just that you don’t hear about it.”

Individuals and schools were invited to submit videos and posters under this theme and hundreds of entries were uploaded to the competition website. The website received more than 35,000 views, ratings and comments from the public, but a judging panel made up of online safety experts and anti-bullying champions had the final say.

This year grand prize winning school will win a €3,000 prize.

The Sisters' music video Internet Sensation came out on top and their award-winning video will now represent Ireland in competing for the European Award for Best Content for Kids in Belgium later this month. This competition, also in its second year, is organised by INSAFE Safer Internet Awareness Network and the European Commission’s Safer Internet Programme.

Individual category winners in the What’s Your Story? competition also received €500 each, and all winners plus their videos and posters can still be viewed on the competition website.
