World Water Day, held on 22 March every year, is an annual UN observance day that highlights the importance of freshwater.

To celebrate, Scoilnet has partnered with Irish Water to bring you wonderful educational resources that will help you learn all about water; from the water cycle, to making raw water drinkable, to how wastewater is treated before its discharged into the sea, rivers or lakes, and to conserving water. There is also a superb high-quality documentary that focuses on the critical value of our most precious natural resource and explores the ongoing threats to its future.

More upcoming celebrations include; St.Patrick's Day, Easter, Lent, and World Poetry Day.
