Online course: Digital Learning Planning

Developing a Digital Learning Plan for your School is a moderated online course, targeted at both primary and post primary teachers involved in developing their school's digital learning plan as well as at Principals and Deputy Principals.

This course will help you to use the Digital Learning Framework to improve digital learning in your school regardless of your stage on this journey. It will step you through the process of creating a plan that will support the effective use of digital technologies across all aspects of teaching and learning. You will engage in individual and school-based activities which will help you to create a Digital Learning Plan that will add a significant dimension to your Whole School Plan.

This course ran from October to December 2018 to great acclaim and is being repeated for new enrollees. The next course is now enrolling (with effect from December 10th) for a January 14th, 2019 start date. Places limited. 

NOTE:  The total estimated time commitment is between 8 and 16 hours - or more - over 4 to 6 weeks, including course and in-school activities, depending on your own school context and school size. This course provides certification for 8 hours. (Participants are expected to do one module (2-3 hrs) per week over 4 weeks with 2 extra ‘grace’ weeks for completion of activities.)
