Uirlisí Measúnú Dhigiteacha i mBunscoil

Video Overview

A 4th class teacher describes how she uses the quiz game Kahoot to assess learning in English, Irish and Maths. The children use a laptop to input questions and answers. Children partake in these quizzes using iPads. This provides the teacher with useful data about what the children have learnt.

Description

4th class teacher discusses how she uses Kahoot as a form of assessment. The class are split into groups, each group represents a subject. The children create questions for the quiz and create their own Kahoot on iPads. New groups are then formed to conduct the quiz. This promotes collaboration and insures the groups are fair. The teacher finds this activity brilliant as the children are engaged, having fun and she can use the results as formative assessment.
